Yet again lots of news!

Why do these always seem to be title lots of news! I really should update more often, although I do have a few excuses this time. Some will become revealed as I write.

So as most of you will know by now I am pregnant and I have put off announcing on here as I wanted to post the scan picture alongside and haven't got around to scanning it until now! Sorry!

I am now nearly 17 weeks pregnant and my due date is 4th September. There will be 21 months between Martha and the baby which is exciting but also scary too, I am sure it will be hard work when the baby arrives but it will all be worth it later on. Martha will have a little brother or sister and I think that will be great for her.

Moving on, one reason I haven't been on here is because both Martha and I got struck down by the nastiest tummy bug ever, I wouldn't even wish it on my worst enemy! Marthas started on a Thursday with her vomitting and then the nappies were just undescribable. She didn't eat and was just really exhausted, she finally ate again on the Tuesday. In the meantime on the Sunday I felt and bit sick and lo and behold my breakfast put in a second appearance and that was it for me until the Thursday- I just couldn't eat or keep anything down. It was truely horrible, on the Monday when we were both ill I felt like I was dying I had to look after myself and Martha and had no energy. Luckily my parents dropped everything and came to our rescue, we really appreciated it. They came down and then took us back to Wales for some tlc, we were due to go down that weekend anyway so saved me having to do the driving and then Liam came down on the weekend to join us. So not a good week for us, especially as on the Friday it was Liams 30th birthday, poor thing! He had a nice day out with his mates but unfortunately Martha and I did not join him- we shall have to make it up to him one day!

Mothers day was a nice day out, we went to Pizza Express where Martha flirted with some twin toddlers on another table- highly amusing, it was like they knew what they were saying! We then followed this by a trip to the park which Martha loved. A really nice day- thank you Liam and Martha.

Our biggest news at the moment is that we have managed to sell our house and have also had our offer accepted on a house in Wales. It all happened very quickly, we had a viewing the Friday night that Martha was ill which I nearly cancelled. I cancelled a viewing on the Thursday nigh which never got rescheduled. Anyway the agent was coming out also so let it go ahead. I didn't think our house was suitable as it was a family with three children but it turned out they had been looking at 2 bed houses. It also turns out that the ladies brother is a footballer and he is buying the house for them. They put an offer that we were happy with on the Monday. Its good for us as it makes it a smaller chain for us and he is a cash buyer. We had been sort of considering a lower offer as the estate agent had been saying it was the most we were going to get, however we were still getting lots of viewings so unsure about accepting. We in the meantime had put in a fairly low offer on the house we like and were getting mixed messages from the seller. This was all going on while I was ill so not really that bothered about things. Then on the Tuesday Liam was looking at other options as it didn't look like we were going to get the house we wanted. Then out of the blue our offer got accepted, Liam was over the moon but I could not get excited as I was just too ill- I have since become excited. We have looked at a couple more houses in case anything backfires and I will post the website link when it is more official with contracts exchanged etc as I don't want to tempt fate. The people we are buying from initially said they were going to move into rented accomodation and we haven't been told otherwise so fingers crossed it will be a nice small chain. The house is in a little village called Garnant which is not far from Ammanford. Its about 30 mins from my parents which is ideal.

I am hoping that I can work till middle of June and then move after that that was I can get my maternity leave which will be a big help, its not going to be much but it will be something and as Tesco say (as much as I hate quoting them) every little helps!

Happy Easter to everyone for today, we had a nice day Sarah, Chris and David came over and had lunch which was nice and up until now no eggs have been opened even though Martha had 3!!! How spoilt! We did have some choc cake and as you can see from picture Martha thoroughly enjoyed it!!

Death by choc cake, not really just caught at a bad moment! Will someone please now believe me about photos of me looking drunk but me actually being sober- everyone has a bad pic somewhere!!

Anyway last but not least

WALES WON THE GRAND SLAM!!!!!

Yippeee!! I knew they could do it!! Go Wales Go Wales!!
